In doing the Raising Your Spirit’s Voice workshop, I went from deep pain & anger to a “Soul Orgasm.”

I was acutely aware there was something wrong with me for a long time.  I turned my hurt inward, building a wall to protect myself from life’s miseries.  I lashed out in anger at others and pushed away those who loved and cared about me.  If there were another young person with huge chips on both shoulders, he did not live in my zip code.  Clearly, something had to give.  I had hit a wall after about four months of therapy, so I was open to new ideas and approaches to “removing the poison from the water.”  I was ready to rid myself of my pain and move forward with my life.

By the 3^rd day of Geoff’s Raising Your Spirit’s Voice workshop, I experienced being freed from the pain and getting to replace it with a feeling I can only describe as a “soul orgasm.”  This head-to-toes, full-body energy and mind cleansing allowed me to release what was not mine to bear, the battles which were not mine to fight, in a war I could not win.  As I got to free my spirit, a load was lifted from my shoulders and I felt a calm peace I hadn’t known in over 30 years.  Today, I connect to my  presence, wants, and needs in a way that helps me be more responsive and less reactive to life’s challenges. Thank you, Geoff, for the tools and support to continue this lifelong process of healing and renewal. – James Ho, Kansas City, KS

The experiences from Raising Your Spirit’s Voice have forever changed how I view the world.  In my first workshop experience with Geoff, in which he was a co-leader, the seeds of my soul were planted, and I began searching deeper and harder to find my own voice in this world.  From that experience, I jumped at the opportunity to do Geoff’s Raising Your Spirit’s Voice.  From my willingness to go into the abyss, and with gentle leading from Geoff, I was brought to the trenches of my societal conditioning and childhood-survival-programming that were unsuccessfully guiding how I lived my life.  The way I was living was so unhealthy to my Spirit that She was a flickering flame about to go out . . . As a result of Raising Your Spirit’s Voice, I am closer to living the kind of life I want and work, everyday, to come from the heart space of doing what is right for me, according to my standards, my wants, and my needs.  Today, I am living with a much greater, open awareness of the world around me and our connection to everything and to each other.  Full of chaos and harmony, it has been quite a journey since doing the workshop two years ago.  There have been setbacks,triumphs, and everything in between.
