What Others Have Gotten

During The Call And Throughout The Workshop I Saw And Felt ~ Deep, Deep Listening And With That A Sense Of ‘Being Held’

First and foremost – Since the first time, (maybe second), that I spoke to you over the phone for coaching – I so felt heard and held.  This sensation continued.  I had met you once at an introduction to ‘Raising your Spirit’s Voice’; and wasn’t sure whether or not I’d want to attend the workshop.  When the Workshop came to my area a month or two later, I still wasn’t really sure; and the timing wasn’t right for me, or so I thought – funny, I probably had fear in and around it.

In this questioning, you called me to check in about it.  You didn’t try to sell me or push me or I didn’t even feel that as an intention or in your energy at all.  You were curious about what was up for me.  You took an hour on the phone with me as I went through and spoke the truth.  You didn’t take it personally – you were objective – yet most of all:

• You held me through the entire conversation!!
• You also emphasized (because of my questioning) that it’s not you, or about you and what you are trying to offer – that it comes through you from Spirit – symbiotically with our connection to Spirit.
• During the call and throughout the workshop I saw and felt: Deep, deep listening and with that a sense of ‘being held’
• Passion for this work and what it has done for you, therefore sharing it with others – yet getting out of the way and allowing it to come through you.
• Thoroughness, coming from all angles within your listening, questioning, and forthright telling us what you’re hearing and seeing (and also through the handouts and our writing assignments).  Which then brings us a sense of clarity.

I have changed all aspects of my life and continue to do so.  I have learned to trust myself and Spirit to the point that I continuously, moment to moment, listen to and follow my flow in line with Spirit’s flow; being more able to recognize and acknowledge, yet not listen to: ego, child, past patterns, etc.   This has created such a deep trust, knowing, and living in my ‘truth’ – with all parts of myself present, leaving behind my ‘victim’ and ‘unworthiness’.

To Embrace It–Rather Than Want To Drown It Out–From This Point On In Life

I can truly say that life will never be the same since the Inner Child Workshop, Raising Your Spirit’s Voice.

It’s been several weeks now since I did the workshop. Just today someone laid into me, setting off surges of emotion that would’ve sent me ‘south’ for days before understanding and relating to my Inner Child with the tools of the workshop, knowing how to be with all of that stuff powerfully and freely, is an amazing boon.

The Inner Child work is proving especially important to me as I navigate the spaces of transition from this life with my aging parents. I can already sense how beautiful that process is when I’m not trying to get them to be any way other than the way they are. To think I was on the verge of messing that up with my unconsciously childish–albeit well-intentioned–ways.

The impacts of the workshop have left me anything but emotionless. I’m actually refreshed to be really feeling the emotional edginess of life again, to embrace it–rather than want to drown it out–from this point on in life.

The Most Astounding Thing Has Happened – I’m Happier Than I Have Been For Years

I finished Geoff’s Inner Child Workshop several days ago. The most astounding thing has happened-I’m happier than I have been for years.

I am not a workshop “junky” but I have done several. I am always ready for the let-down after the intensity of the work. It didn’t happen.

Geoff is experienced and very perceptive in helping us to ease back into “normal” life. There were a lot of exercises and readings after the former Workshop had ended and these presented ways to allow ourselves to take these experiences into our “normal” life.

I Realized How Fear Of Asking For Anything Was Keeping Me Stuck In Business And In Relationships

I recently completed Geoff Laughton’s class Getting Beyond Fear.

One of the biggest benefits of taking Geoff’s class is that I realized how fear was keeping me from making decisions , committing and taking action, which was keeping my business stuck. I learned so many things through the exercises Geoff prescribed, that allowed me to deal with fear in the moment so I could keep moving rather than stay trapped. I realized how my fear of asking was taking everything out of me; in my business and in my relationships. Another huge benefit is that I am not experiencing anxiety during the day as I have for MANY years.

I having been going nowhere in my business for 2 years. By the end of the class, I had committed to a plan of action in my business, had completed online marketing plans, was building a blog, learning pay per click marketing and had designed a marketing funnel. I have been technically challenged and have allowed my fears to keep me from moving forward. Connections with the others in class was fun, helpful and supportive and will be ongoing.

I recommend to anyone feeling held back by fear or anxiety, even if you do not know what it is, have given up hope that it will ever be relieved, take any opportunity to work with Geoff!

In doing the Raising Your Spirit’s Voice workshop, I went from deep pain & anger to a “Soul Orgasm.”

I was acutely aware there was something wrong with me for a long time.  I turned my hurt inward, building a wall to protect myself from life’s miseries.  I lashed out in anger at others and pushed away those who loved and cared about me.  If there were another young person with huge chips on both shoulders, he did not live in my zip code.  Clearly, something had to give.  I had hit a wall after about four months of therapy, so I was open to new ideas and approaches to “removing the poison from the water.”  I was ready to rid myself of my pain and move forward with my life.

I Have Walked Through Walls Of Fear And Been Stunned By Some Of The Things I Discovered…I Feel Like A Boat That Has Finally Been Able To Catch The Wind In Its Sails.

I decided to commit to doing a two-day intensive coaching retreat with Geoff because I reached a place in my life where I knew I needed to make some major shifts but wasn’t quite sure what those shifts might be. I felt an urgency about my life, a sense that I needed to break through some of my old patterns, in order to embrace a whole new chapter that was wanting to emerge.

The experiences from Raising Your Spirit’s Voice have forever changed how I view the world.  In my first workshop experience with Geoff, in which he was a co-leader, the seeds of my soul were planted, and I began searching deeper and harder to find my own voice in this world.  From that experience, I jumped at the opportunity to do Geoff’s Raising Your Spirit’s Voice.  From my willingness to go into the abyss, and with gentle leading from Geoff, I was brought to the trenches of my societal conditioning and childhood-survival-programming that were unsuccessfully guiding how I lived my life.  The way I was living was so unhealthy to my Spirit that She was a flickering flame about to go out . . .
