Geoff,
This reminds me of the saying "Take time to stop and smell the roses!"...This actually did prompt me to stop and think about all I am blessed to have around me that brings me pleasure...all I have to do is stop and notice! I think we all need to put his on our "to do" list everyday...another form of gratitude in the form of active appreciation. As with all things, this too is a choice. Choose to stop, choose to look around, choose to let in the beauty and joy!
Thanks for sharing!

Geoff,
Thank you for sharing that wonderful post with us all. I found it quite relaxing and very uplifting, it added to an already wonderful day and week.
I feel it is very important to notice all of the things for a couple of reasons, one like it was pointed out. It's calming and soothing and you are truly taking in and appreciating all that life has to offer. And at the same time you are being yourself more present in the moment and that is just one more gift I see in that.
Thank you for posting this, I got great value from it.
